The Multiply Family of Churches is dedicated to restoring the full spectrum of the fivefold ministry—Apostolic, Prophetic, Evangelistic, Shepherding, and Teaching (APEST)—within the body of Christ. By establishing Apostolic Centers and planting the gospel into diverse cultural spaces through local expressions of the church, we witness the emergence of renewed forms of ecclesia. From God's initial command to "be fruitful and multiply" (Genesis 1:28) to His repeated blessings upon Noah, Abraham, and Jacob to the early church of Acts, the mandate to multiply has been central to our call to co-partner with Christ to establish His Kingdom on earth. This divine inheritance compels us to carry forward the promise of our fathers of the faith; multiplication is embedded in our very DNA and lies at the heart of who we are.

We believe the Western church has often operated on a shepherd-teacher model, limiting the expression of the full Ephesians 4 five-fold ministry. By embracing the apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic, shepherding, and teaching gifts, we aim to empower the body of Christ for greater impact and revival.

Dr. Douglas Witherup
GLOBAL Senior Pastor, Multiply Family of Churches

Dr. Douglas Witherup serves as the Global Senior Pastor of the Multiply Family of Churches and Lead Pastor at the Concord location. He is an innovative thought leader, gifted communicator, author, and university professor. Dr. Witherup is married to Camden, and they have two children, Cade and Ana. In his leisure time, he enjoys surfing, hiking, and Spartan races. Dr. Witherup has authored several books, including Interrobang Preaching: (re)Discovering the Communication Secrets of Jesus and Brave Parents, Courageous Kids.
